How we can cut it
- Whole carcass, or split into halves or quarters
- Bone-in cubes (curry cut) for stews and curries
- Chops and roasts: leg, shoulder, loin and rack
- Organs (liver, heart, kidneys) when they pass USDA inspection
- Vacuum-packed for the freezer, or bagged for fresh pickup
Put your choices on the cut sheet so we can schedule your animals. Goats and sheep move through the plant quickly, so we need it before drop-off.
What to expect for yield
Goats typically dress at 45–50% of live weight (University of Kentucky), so a 90 lb goat gives a carcass of roughly 40–45 lb. Lambs dress a little higher, about 50–54%. A goat carcass can lose up to 10% in the first 24 hours of chilling.

Busy seasons
Eid al-Adha is our busiest week for goats and sheep. Eid in 2027 is expected on May 16 or 17. See Qurbani & aqiqah bookings.
Dashain runs October 11–25, 2026, with Tika on October 21. If you need goats for Dashain, call now so we can hold a date before Tika.
Aqiqah happens year-round. Our standard notice is one week; for a seventh-day aqiqah, call as soon as the baby arrives and we will do our best to fit you in.
Can I sell the goat meat?
Yes, if you choose USDA-inspected processing. Inspected packages carry the USDA mark with our establishment number, so you can sell to customers, restaurants and markets. Custom processing is for your own household only.
How many goats can I bring?
Tell us your count when you book. For more than 6 animals we hold a card on file and need 21 days notice to change or cancel.
Can I keep the hide or head?
Ask at drop-off. There is an extra slaughter fee for the time it takes, and hides are not guaranteed to be free of cuts.
