We hire people who show up early, work clean and treat animals and coworkers with respect. Experience in a meat plant, butcher shop or on a ranch helps, but we train the right people.
The work
- Kill floor: early starts, physical work on a stainless line under USDA inspection.
- Cutting room: breaking carcasses and cutting to customer cut sheets.
- Packaging: vacuum packing, labeling and boxing.
- Livestock handling: unloading and moving animals calmly through the pens.
- Sanitation: keeping the plant clean to USDA standards.
- Office: scheduling, customer calls and billing.
