What animals do you process?
Cattle, goats and sheep.
Do you process deer or wild game?
Call us before you bring any species other than cattle, goats or sheep.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Animal drop-off is 5:30 to 6:00 a.m. on your slaughter day. Pickup is Monday to Thursday, 10 to 11 a.m. or 2 to 3 p.m.
Is the facility allergen free?
Yes. The seasonings we use are allergen free. If you want your own seasoning, it must be allergen free too, with a letter of guarantee from the supplier.
Booking
How far ahead should I book?
At least one week before slaughter. When you book, tell us the type, age and size of each animal, whether it is custom or commercial, and any requests for labels, patties, links or smoking.
What if I need to cancel?
Give 14 days notice, or 21 days if you booked more than 6 animals. Later cancellations are charged the slaughter and rendering fee per animal. Bookings of more than 6 animals hold a card on file.
Can I show up without an appointment?
No. We only accept animals that are booked with us.
Do you haul animals?
No, but we can give you the number of a trucker we trust.
Drop-off & pickup
What time do I drop off?
Between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. on your slaughter day. Late arrivals may be refused or billed $150 per hour late.
How long does processing take?
At least three days. Goats and sheep are usually done within a few days; beef and busy seasons take longer.
When can I pick up?
Monday to Thursday, 10 to 11 a.m. or 2 to 3 p.m., after we call you. Please pick up within 5 days; product not picked up and paid for within 5 days is forfeited.
How do I pay?
In full at pickup. Credit and debit cards carry a 3% fee.
Cutting & labels
Do I need a cut sheet?
Yes. Send it before or bring it at drop-off. Without one there is a $25 fee and we decide the cuts. Fill it out online.
Can I keep the organs?
You can ask for heart, liver and tongue (and liver, heart and kidneys from goats and sheep), but they must pass USDA inspection, so they are not guaranteed.
Can you put my farm’s name on the labels?
Yes. We offer private labels with your name and logo. Claims like grass fed or Angus need USDA approval; we submit that paperwork for $250.
Can I keep the hide?
Tell us at drop-off. Keeping hides, heads, horns or feet adds a slaughter fee, and hides may have cuts or holes. Cattle skin and viscera otherwise belong to the plant.
Do you book Qurbani and aqiqah?
Yes. See Qurbani & aqiqah for Eid al-Adha 2027 dates and booking.
